MU Art: Work in Progress

ABOUT THE SHOW

The McEachern Art Center is excited to host its first work in progress, student exhibition. The show includes over 100 works created by students attending classes within the walls of Hardman Hall; the home of Mercer’s art department. The show will be categorized by course and is designed to be self guided as viewers walk through the concepts covered in each class. The show highlights the importance of research, process, and creative exploration that students experience in the program from the foundations through the upper level courses focused on creating cohesive bodies of work. Since the show is work in progress, viewers will have the opportunity to discuss the importance of a student’s work with the artists, and help inspire them to continue growing their practice as they continue to advance in the program.
